about cassidy
I am currently based in Los Angeles as a freelance virtual production specialist, project manager, and general pixel person. Formerly a member of the ARRI System Solutions group, and a mixed reality (xR) specialist with disguise. I have extensive experience with virtual production projects across the live, broadcast and film industries: advising workflow processes and system design, assessing product viability, and consulting on content creation and optimization.
My time at Carnegie Mellon's Drama School involved leading teams as a media designer, system engineer, and project manager, allowing me to explore production from many vantage points. Multiple exploratory mixed reality projects in conjunction with the Entertainment Technology Center allowed for a sandbox collaboration between theatre makers, programmers, developers, and more. I was able to explore my technical interests alongside developing as an artist in a rigorous design program.

As a proud recipient of the Digital Entertainment Group's Hedy Lamarr Achievement Award for Emerging Innovators, I am invested in the positive intersection between art, creators, and new technology; I am passionate about my craft and the people behind it; I love putting things together and taking them back apart.
